Kaori Okano
“I paint in my studio in the Czech Republic every day, layering glass and color, tracing the landscapes and colors that remain in my unconscious memory. I hope you will enjoy this year's new works, glass paintings that change their expression depending on the light.” 

Born in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo,  Okano graduated from Tama Art University in 1994 with a degree in three-dimensional design. After training at Utatsuyama Craft Studio in Kanazawa, studied glass printmaking at Bild-Werk Frauenau (Germany) and Pilchuck Glass School (USA).　Moved to the Czech Republic in 2007.
